Coming soon – Bramley Ammunition Depot

Coming soon in 2024 we have exclusive access to Bramley Ammunition Depot near Basingstoke.

History

Bramley Central ammunition depot opened on a large area of scrubland north of Hampshire in 1917 for the manufacture and storage of ammunition. To enable both safe manufacture and storage of munitions well spaced railway tracks were connected with each at the northern and southern ends. The tracks in the depot served various factories and stores.

Following its closure In the 1980s the facilitiy was renamed Bramley training area subdivided into three areas. Many television series have been filmed such as Scrap Heap Challenge and Midsomer Murders to name but a few.

Note

There is a large albino stag that roams the training area known as the sentient one. Salute, nod and let him be.

The team will greet you at the main security gate for you to park briefly. The team will explain the evening where we will then drive in convoy to area A. This is where the investigation will begin.

Please bring your own hot drinks and snacks as this is purely an outdoor investigation and please ensure you take your rubbish home.

A portaloo has been hired for the evening in area A please use it as we may be under surveillance.

Please do not pick up anything that looks like fuses or ammunition in the ground. Ammunition or bombs have a habit of surfacing from time to time. Let one of the team know if you see anything suspicious!

Paranormal

A spectral black bear roams the Land.

A highwayman, William Boulter hung for his crimes, not more than 5 miles away.

Within area A is a German prisoner of war camp, plus a railway platform and shed. There can be a feeling of despair and a tightness in your chest when walking through the woods to reach it.

The billet, used in the fallout of World War I, we had strange interference with our camera and microphone with a very eerie feeling inside the billet.

You will find your car radio will keep changing channels on its own.

Ghost train, vibrations on what is left of the old line. Ghost train carts have been seen to move on their own after they were collected for scrap days before.

Known as scary dark woods, no soldier will enter at night or camp there overnight. It is blacker than black. Vibrations can be felt from the trees that are continuously blowing in the breeze when there is none.

There is a clearing in the middle of scary dark woods by a freak wind some 40 years ago the clearing is a circle shape where no trees will grow. what caused this? a wind witch? some sort of magnetic phenomenon dare I say UFO.

Nissan huts and abandoned buildings all need investigating a dark scary feeling when entering.

Bramley ammunition Depot has been an extremely classified area for many many years. There doesn’t seem to be any records or history about the Depot especially when the Americans owned it. I have been told all of the above by two soldiers who have been in the training area and trained soldiers for many years plus our own experience when visiting the location for a few hours.
